Dilek Bil spent 3 years in both corporate and entrepreneurial ventures;
–Worked 10 years in banking for American Express Bank, BNP-Ak-Dresdner Bank and Société Générale.
–Co-founded “Kangaroo Communications Agency”in 1994, a brand strategy and advertising agency; end of 2013, spun off advertising, re-structured her business as a sustainability consultancy agency, and established “Purpose-Sustainable Ideas”. She advises companies to create, define, build, and measure more purposeful businesses, strategies, brands, and compelling communications.
–Serves as an Independent Board Member on the Board of Directors of ‘’Aydem Renewable Energy’’ since 2021
-Served as an Independent Board Member on the Board of Directors of Akmerkez GYO .2016-2021
– Sustainability Adviser to the BOD of Turkish Clothing Manufacturers’ Association (TGSD)

-President of the “Wine Association of Turkey” since 2020, an NGO founded in 2009 to increase the vine and wine culture as well as the sustainable economy around it.
-President of Accademia Italiana della Cucina Turkey Chapter since 2018, an NGO founded by the Italian Government to increase cultural and economic relations
-Advisor to the 35th President of Galatasaray Sports Club in 2014.

Dilek Bil is among inspirational leaders in women empowerment and sustainability; in pursuing her task, she also presents at conferences as well as to students.
Dilek Bil is an amateur in swimming. Competes in the “Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Competition” organized by the Turkish Olympic Committee.
Dilek Bil graduated from Northport High School-New York and has a BBA degree from the University of North Texas U.S.A., married and has a son.
